The voices of Master Pu Shan and the old Taoist seemed to break through the air, interrupting Yun Qianyue's memories and bringing her back to reality.

Her eyes that had been closed opened up, and she immediately saw Ye Tianyi standing behind Master Pu Shan, looking at her with joy and tension. From the little boy who loved to lie on the wall chewing grass while watching stars, he suddenly grew into a handsome young man. As she looked at him, fifteen years of time seemed to flash by in her mind.

The first time they met was when he followed Lady Lan to pay respects in Empress Dowager's quarters. Seeing his face that resembled Xiao Qi, she tumbled off the Empress Dowager’s legs in shock. Ignoring the pain and the surprise calls from the Empress Dowager and Lady Lan, she pulled him out of the Empress Dowager's quarters and found a quiet place for him to read "The Communist Manifesto". Later, when she discovered he wasn't Xiao Qi, she felt somewhat disappointed.

On Emperor’s 45th birthday, she secretly made arrangements to switch places with Night Tianqin who was staying in the mansion beside Cloud Manor. To make it look believable, she had a big scene and cried out for him to be replaced by Ye Tianyi but this caused Ye Tianqin to hate her. On that night, when he moved into the mansion next door, she brought a jar of wine to the wall head to call him over. They got drunk together.

Afterwards, they would gaze at the stars and listen to Yun Qianyue tell him stories such as "The Old Man and the Sea", "The Little Mermaid", and "Hunter Hai Li Bu". He listened with great interest until she had told all the stories in her mind.

Then came the departure of King Rong and his wife, Yongjing's ordeal, the total annihilation of Wen Bo Marquis Manor overnight. Her brother went to the north frontier and returned as a different person... Then many other events happened...

During that time, dark clouds hung over the capital city Tian Sheng and no sound came from any of the mansions. But regardless, she and he would still lie on the wall heads chatting or lying head to head at both ends of the wall without speaking, only watching stars.

Time flew by like a fleeting moment, five years passing in an instant.

One day, she discovered that the child she had been observing all along had grown into a graceful and handsome young man. She wasn't sure if she felt more amazed or relieved, or if there was something lost that she revisited.

One day, while in the palace, she suddenly found a secret passage and pulled him to explore it together, only to hear an astonishing secret conversation between Emperor and Lady Lan. The conditions were: Condition one, all of the Lan family would be uprooted for his son to become the king of Tian Sheng; condition two, if they kept Lady Lan and her family, his son would be exiled to the north frontier forever forbidden from entering the capital city. She thought that Emperor was merciless but when she turned around to look at him, he had a tight-lipped expression with clenched fists. When Lady Lan agreed to the first condition, she saw blood seeping through his fingers. She believed he would rush out but he didn’t; instead, he pulled her out of the secret passage and they remained silent for three days.

In that moment, she knew how resilient and rational - bordering on cold-blooded - he was. In this aspect, they were truly alike. If it had been her, she wouldn't rush out either. It was Lady Lan's choice; if they rushed out, not only would Lady Lan die but also him and herself! Emperor wouldn’t allow that secret passage to be discovered or any events happening outside of his expectations.

Three days later, Lady Lan hung herself and the entire Lan family was executed. He was exiled to the north frontier!

The fourth day, he brought her to Lingtai Temple where he wrote: "Five years from now, would you like me" She replied with a simple: "Yes!" In fact, in that moment, she would have agreed to anything.

Fifth day, he left the capital city alone for the north frontier. Only she accompanied him to the farewell pavilion outside the city gate. Everyone believed Seventh Prince’s life was over but only she knew he had a royal secret guard accompanying him secretly as instructed by Emperor. However, in these five years, he only used this secret guard to deal with Night Tianqin and not for anything else because the secret guards actually answered to the emperor who held their lives in his hands. The secret guards were meant to protect him but also monitor him.

The first time he sent a letter from the north frontier, it was delayed by many people until three months later when it reached her. After reading the date on the letter, she sat alone on the wall for an entire night. On the second day, she decided to form an organization not only for secret communication but also to secretly help him because she knew how difficult his life in the north frontier was. They both understood that if he made no achievements in the north frontier, even with Lady Lan and Emperor’s agreement, he would be a disposable pawn of Emperor and would never ascend to the throne. Therefore, he had to become so powerful that he could conquer Tian Sheng without needing Emperor's consent. The throne belonged only to him.

With her help, he indeed grew stronger! He brought the north frontier under his control!

Then...

"Moonie, are you alright Have you remembered everything" Ye Tianyi stepped forward and asked softly when Yun Qianyue didn't speak. His voice was hoarse as if he feared to startle her.

Yun Qianyue withdrew from her thoughts and quietly looked at Ye Tianyi. Her two-month amnesia felt like a dream of fifteen years, so much time had passed since she woke up again that everything seemed different now. The face before her was the one she'd known since childhood; the person in front of her grew up with her; the person who received all her help; the person who never asked anything of her and whom she never refused...

But after this amnesia, everything changed...

"Moonie" Ye Tianyi stared at Yun Qianyue, tightly focusing on her eyes hoping to read something but seeing no emotion, he became anxious. He reached out to support her shoulders and asked softly: "Moonie, are you unwell Or is something wrong with you"

"Night boy! Are you doubting my abilities as an old Taoist She's fine!" The old Taoist glared at Ye Tianyi, glanced at Rong Jing, and gave him a fierce look: "You brat, why don't you say anything now Didn’t you risk everything to help this little girl regain her memory Could it be that there's no place for you in her memories"

Rong Jing remained silent.

Ye Tianyi suddenly raised his head and looked at Rong Jing, masking the emotions in his eyes. He then turned back to Yun Qianyue: "Moonie, are you overwhelmed with too much memory Shall I take you back to the palace"

Yun Qianyue still did not speak or move.

"Let's go, I'll take you back to the palace!" Ye Tianyi bent down and changed his hand on Yun Qianyue’s shoulder into an embrace.

Yun Qianyue suddenly opened Night Tianyi's hand. Night Tianyi was taken aback, and she stood up abruptly from her sitting position without looking at anyone else; she then swiftly flew down the mountain with just a light tap of her toe, not uttering a single word. She never once turned back to glance at Rong Jing.

"Moon兒!" Night Tianyi was alarmed.

Master Pu Shan and others were taken aback.

Night Tianyi glanced at Rong Jing, then suddenly used his lightness skills to follow Yun Qianyue. However, he had been kicked by the Taoist elder earlier on, which injured his internal organs; therefore, his energy lagged behind Yun Qianyue's considerably. Even so, in a blink of an eye, he was gone from everyone's sight and left Dharma Hall down the mountain.

Xiang Ge was about to follow them when he noticed Rong Jing standing there motionless; he hurriedly walked up beside him and whispered, "Young Master!"

Rong Jing glanced at Xiang Ge, then gently said to the Taoist elder and Master Pu Shan, "Thank you for your guidance, Senior, and Master Pu Shan."

"No need to thank me! From now on, don't call me 'Senior'!" The Taoist elder waved his hand at Rong Jing, looking at Master Pu Shan, "Bald monk, I'm leaving now. Are you coming with me"

"Coming with you Where are we going" Master Pu Shan was puzzled.

"You've been hiding in this tiny temple for decades, haven't you had enough of it yet Naturally, there's a vast world out there full of fun places to explore. Come along and travel the seas and rivers with me. Are you coming or not" The Taoist elder surveyed Lingtai Temple, then looked at the ruins ahead, "Anyway, your nest is already destroyed. What are you still waiting for here!"

"But aren't you afraid of what others might say about us again" Master Pu Shan was hesitant.

"Afraid of what We're almost ancient relics; who's going to gossip anymore Back then, I shouldn't have been worried, wasting decades for nothing. When I got angry later on, I stopped brewing wine altogether since you wouldn’t drink it anyway even when I did." The Taoist elder scolded Master Pu Shan.

"If I'm following you now, will you start brewing again" Master Pu Shan’s eyes lit up.

"Of course! Why not I want to drink too!" the Taoist elder said matter-of-factly.

"Great! Then I'll follow you! For decades without drinking your wine, I've missed it terribly. Haha, from now on no one can control me anymore when I'm roasting fish and drinking alcohol while eating meat heartily! Isn’t that wonderful!" Master Pu Shan burst into laughter.

"Hurry up then, follow me!" The Taoist elder took a large step forward to leave.

"Alright!" Master Pu Shan nodded readily and followed the Taoist elder with big strides.

"Uncle Grandmaster, how can you say leave and just leave You can't go!" Seeing that the two of them were about to walk away after a couple of words, Master Ciyun was alarmed; he hurriedly tried to stop Master Pu Shan. He never expected that these two who had been enemies would actually not be enemies. Although they turned swords into plowshares and avoided a disaster at Lingtai Temple, taking away the only elder from the Pu generation was a loss for Lingtai Temple.

"Why can't I leave In truth, I didn’t like being a monk in the first place; it’s just that I’ve wasted decades here! Now I’m over a hundred years old and have forgotten what the world outside looks like. Don’t stop me. I must leave today." Master Pu Shan pushed away Master Ciyun.

"Uncle Grandmaster, you…" Master Ciyun wanted to say more when the Taoist elder suddenly kicked a pebble to block his mouth; he turned pale and looked at the Taoist elder.

"What are you delaying for Hurry up and leave!" The Taoist elder harrumphed at Master Pu Shan.

“Mm!” Master Pu Shan agreed, took two big steps forward but then suddenly stopped, glancing at Master Ciyun and a few elders; he looked around Lingtai Temple one last time and sighed, "I’m leaving! You… you keep chanting your scriptures well!"

"Uncle Grandmaster!" After spitting out the pebble, Master Pu Shan suddenly knelt down first, “Since Uncle Grandmaster is determined to leave, there’s no point in stopping you. I bid farewell to Uncle Grandmaster and wish Uncle Grandmaster good health.”

“Farewell, Uncle Grandmaster!” The elders also kneeled together.

Mistaking his sadness for carefree indifference, Master Pu Shan wiped at his eyes and waved his hand as he strode forward.

The Taoist elder walked to the entrance of Dharma Hall; then suddenly turned back to look at Rong Jing and harrumphed, "You brat! Universal包容 (bao kuo) is about including all living beings in the universe, but you only have a woman in your heart. How can you achieve great success When will you be able to let go so that the true essence of Heavenly Dao reaches its peak"

"Then I’d rather never succeed!" Rong Jing said indifferently.

“You’re such a failure!” The Taoist elder scolded him, then remained silent and, with his toes lightly touching the ground, floated down the mountain.

"Crown Prince Rong, take care of yourself!" Master Pushan also looked back at Rong Jing once.

"Master and senior monk, take care as well!" Rong Jing nodded in response.

Master Pushan sighed and used his light-footed skills to follow the old emperor down the mountain. The two of them were walking one after another, and before long, their figures disappeared from sight.

Rong Jing watched until their figures vanished, his gaze lingering for a long time without moving.

"Crown Prince, why don’t you go chase Miss Qin Yue" Xiange retracted her gaze and looked at Rong Jing. Miss Qin Yue left without saying a word, while the Seventh Prince followed after her, but Crown Prince remained silent, not having spoken a single word to Miss Qin Yue since he arrived. What if something happened between Miss Qin Yue and the Seventh Prince

"Let's go! We'll return home!" Rong Jing stepped out of the Bodhidharma Hall and walked down the mountain.

Seeing that Rong Jing really had no intention to chase after her, Xiange could only refrain from speaking further and followed behind him.

Venerable Ciyun and several elders still remained kneeling to see them off. Everyone thought about Master Pushan leaving; the Lingtai Temple would now be missing a lot of fun. They all entered here nearly looking at an old mischief-maker, a monk who often roasted fish and drank wine late into the night. Previously, they often felt that their Uncle Master didn’t even look like a monk for half a thread. Now thinking about it, in the middle of the night, no one could be seen anymore! It couldn't help but make everyone's hearts ache with reluctance.

As people dispersed, Lingtai Temple returned to its usual state.

Rong Jing walked out from Lingtai Temple halfway up the mountain and suddenly leaned against a tree beside the path, spitting out some blood.

"Crown Prince!" Xiange was shocked and immediately reached out to support Rong Jing. She saw that his complexion was pale and his forehead darkened. His face turned even paler as he hurriedly said, "Crown Prince, you've been injured" Upon saying this, he proceeded to feel for Rong Jing's pulse. When his hand touched the pulse, his body trembled violently, "How could you… be like this…"

"I'm fine!" Rong Jing shook his head; his jade-like hand rested on the tree trunk, with the knuckles unusually pale compared to usual.

“How can it not be serious I'll carry you back home now!” Xiange quickly moved to pick up Rong Jing. She couldn't even imagine that Crown Prince was actually so seriously injured and yet hadn’t shown any signs of distress at all, standing behind Miss Qin Yue as if nothing had happened for such a long time, and then walking alone this far down the mountain. He also berated himself for not having noticed anything earlier.

"No need! I want to walk." Rong Jing waved his hand to stop Xiange's attempt to carry him.

"Crown Prince, your injuries are severe; let me…" Xiange hurriedly said.

“I said no need!” Rong Jing interrupted Xiange’s words.

Xiange immediately stopped talking.

Rong Jing leaned on the tree trunk and quietly gazed at a spot of bloodstains on the ground. After a moment, he took out a handkerchief to gently wipe his mouth corner, then slowly continued walking forward. Qingquan Mountain was quiet; his steps were light and shallow. The starry sky, crescent moonlight, and Lingtai Temple's lantern lights converged upon him, casting him in the dim shadows. His moon-white brocade robe lit up this mountain’s night as a cool breeze blew by, making him seem bone-chillingly warm.

Xiange silently followed behind Rong Jing; she could not comprehend how Crown Prince was thinking. When the Seventh Prince had already agreed to kill his father, he stopped the Seventh Prince and took such great risks to forcibly separate Daoist Priest Old Man and Master Pushan. Now not only was he heavily injured but also lost more than half of his strength. Yet he didn’t stop Miss Qin Yue from leaving, giving her opportunity to the Seventh Prince.

The two walked in silence, descending Qingquan Mountain.

Qingquan had received a message from Qingti and was waiting at the bottom of the mountain with a carriage. Seeing Rong Jing arrive, he looked at him nervously, "Crown Prince…"

"No trouble!" Rong Jing shook his head, reached out to lift the curtain of the carriage, and slowly got in.

Qingquan looked at Xiange who shook her head at him. Qingquan understood and didn’t ask further; they both sat up front, whipped the horse, and left Qingquan Mountain heading towards the capital city.

In the carriage, Rong Jing leaned against the wall with his eyes closed, his poetic face unusually clear and transparent white.

The journey was silent without a sound, hearing only the rhythmic sounds of wheels rolling on the ground and hooves trotting forward.

Qin Shallow Moon's light-footed skill doubled compared to before; she transformed into a whirlwind, leaving Qingquan Mountain in no time. At the bottom of Qingquan Mountain, Night Tianyi and her two horses were still there eating grass. She didn't stop moving as she swiftly got on the white horse, pressing both legs against its belly, White-Red Phoenix’s four hooves flung up, shooting out like an arrow loosed from a bow.

Night Tianyi arrived behind by one step; Qin Shallow Moon was already nowhere to be seen. He mounted his horse and followed the hoof prints in pursuit.

After walking for a while, Yun Qianyue heard faint horse hooves behind her. Suddenly at the crossroad, she abandoned her ride and patted the white horse's rear end, sending it towards the road leading to the imperial capital. She then used her light-foot skills to head in another direction. Her movements were as light as smoke, leaving no trace.

When Ye Tianyi arrived at the crossroad, he paused for a moment and listened carefully before following the sound of the horse hooves towards the imperial capital.

Yun Qianyue glanced back and then turned west. This road led to West Mountain.

The West Mountain was rarely visited by ordinary people mainly due to two reasons: one, it was a hunting ground mostly frequented by nobles' offspring; commoners avoided going there unless for special reasons. The second reason, the most significant one, was that military headquarters were stationed in West Mountain, making it even less likely for regular citizens to approach.

Yun Qianyue continued her journey using light-foot skills without thinking of anything else, and an hour later she arrived at West Mountain. She stopped moving and stood by the entrance to West Mountain for a moment before circumventing the hunting grounds and heading towards the military headquarters' rear camp.

About two li away from the rear camp, faint sounds of training drills were heard on the parade ground of West Mountain's encampment, mixed with a familiar voice. She paused in her step, stopped for a moment, then continued to head towards the rear camp.

When she was about one li away from the rear camp, two patrolling soldiers approached her. Yun Qianyue lightly stepped and silently flew over their heads, swiftly entering the rear camp within moments. The rear camp was where military headquarters resided for accommodation. As soon as she entered, every corner of the military headquarters was brightly lit. Even at this late hour, patrols were more frequent than usual, with no one in the entire military base resting.

Yun Qianyue arrived at the last barrack's entrance; it wasn't illuminated inside. She quietly opened a window and slipped into the room without making any sound. Upon landing, she heard someone bellow, "Who is there"

"Uncle Tie! It’s me!" Yun Qianyue replied softly.

"Young Master !" Uncle Tie was startled, getting up from his bed. "Why did you come"

"I came to check on things," Yun Qianyue glanced at the elderly man and smiled.

"You could have just sent a message; why come in person" About fifty years old, Uncle Tie quickly dressed himself. Then he said, "Everyone has missed you. It’s good that you’re here now! Today during the day, Shallow Green and Luo Yao mentioned they haven’t received your letters for two months. They thought it was about time you came! Indeed, it seems thoughts manifest."

Yun Qianyue smiled slightly. "Are things alright"

"Everything is fine! It's just that Feng Jin had a mishap a few days ago and got injured, but he’s okay now. Considering the news frequently coming out from your end about Prince Jing... I didn’t report it to you," Uncle Tie said hesitantly.

“What happened with Feng Jin” Yun Qianyue walked towards a wardrobe in the northern corner of the room and turned back to look at Uncle Tie upon hearing this.

"The Feng family found him, demanding that he return. He refused and fought them, so he got injured," Uncle Tie said.

"Oh You say that the Feng family found Feng Jin Where are they now" Yun Qianyue raised an eyebrow.

"Feng Jin managed to escape from the Feng family's grasp. Now, the Feng family is still secretly searching for him in the capital! Since his injury, he hasn’t left," Uncle Tie sighed, "They say that this generation’s designated heir died of a terminal illness last year. A lady was taken away more than ten years ago. The Fengs have been searching all over the world for their missing Feng Jin ever since. After finding him now, how could they give up He is the only legitimate heir."

“Hmm! We should go see them!” Yun Qianyue stretched out her hand to scratch on the wardrobe, opening a small door and stepping inside.

Uncle Tie looked outside and seeing no one around, stepped in as well.

The moment they entered, the hidden door silently closed behind them.

The passage was spacious enough for two people to walk side by side. Every few meters, a small night pearl was embedded into the walls. After about half an hour of walking, Yun Qianyue turned the last night pearl, and in a whirlwind, she pulled Uncle Yao down with her.

"Only Young Master and Feng Jin dare take this path; it usually takes us half an hour to reach the rear mountain ravine through this passage," Uncle Tie said. Then he was surprised again: "Your martial arts seem to have improved!"

“Hmm!” Yun Qianyue responded.

Uncle Tie felt that something seemed off about Yun Qianyue today and didn’t say anything more.

About half an incense stick later, Yun Qianyue suddenly kicked a corner of the wall on her left side, which silently opened. She pulled Uncle Tie out through it. The scenery instantly brightened as they found themselves at a cliffside halfway up the mountain. After standing for a moment, she pulled Uncle Tie along and jumped down using ropes; after descending fifty meters or so, she suddenly grabbed two vines and slid down them to the bottom.

About half an incense stick later, they reached the valley floor.

The bottom of the Western Wind Cliff, the highest peak of Xi Mountain Camp. In fact, there was a steep mountain wall separating it from Xi Mountain Camp, and it took about five miles to get here. However, it felt like two different worlds. An ordinary martial artist would need another half an hour or so to cross the mountains, whereas Yun Qianyue took a shortcut through secret passages and only needed around two sticks of incense time.

After untying the vines, Yun Qianyue let go of Old Iron.

Old Iron wiped his forehead sweat away just as he was about to speak. Suddenly, someone ran over and appeared in front of Yun Qianyue within a blink of an eye. A small body hugged Yun Qianyue's neck tightly, "Sister Yun! I missed you so much! Why didn't you come visit us for such a long time You also never sent any letters!"

Yun Qianyue was pushed back by the impact and looked at the little boy hanging on her like an octopus with amusement, "Li Ting, what did you eat How could you have gained so much weight in such a short time Are you just eating and not practicing martial arts"

"I didn't! I've just grown taller!" Li Ting immediately let go of Yun Qianyue and stood straight in front of her. With a proud look on his handsome young face, he said, "Sister Yun, do you think I'm about to catch up with you"

"Hmm, indeed, you've grown quite a bit." Yun Qianyue smiled as she patted his head. "How did you know I was coming"

"Brother Feng told me!" Li Ting said.

Yun Qianyue blinked her eyes. "So Brother Feng told you! It's so late, why haven't you all gone to sleep yet"

"These few days we've been sleeping during the day and staying awake at night just to wait for you!" Li Ting pouted his lips. "Why does Sister Yun always come when Brother Feng is the first one to know I understand that he could sense your aura back then before he got injured, but now his injuries are quite serious, how can he still know"

"You'll have to go ask him yourself! I also want to know how he knows!" Yun Qianyue smiled and looked ahead. The lush grasses and trees were green and the lake water was clear. A row of houses stood in a neat line, almost every one of them lit up with lamps. She led Li Ting by the hand into the courtyard. This place used to be her peaceful haven outside the world, but she hadn't been here for two months already.

"I will definitely ask him!" Li Ting nodded and suddenly shouted loudly, "All come out! Sister Yun is here!"

It's Miss!

The Master has arrived!

Sister Yun is here!

Mistress Yun has arrived!

"..."

The moment Li Ting shouted out, doors from all the rooms opened simultaneously. A series of faces young and old, male and female, emerged. Everyone looked at her with a delighted expression, making her suddenly feel warm inside as if many of her feelings of loneliness had vanished.

"Miss! You're finally here! We were talking about you just today morning, wondering whether you would come or not before the moon festival! We thought that due to His Majesty's summons, you wouldn't be able to come anytime soon. Never did we expect you'd show up today!" Two girls around her age walked forward first. One of them was wearing green and called herself Qianbi; she gave Yun Qianyue a once-over with a smile on her face and said, "Miss has lost weight!"

"Miss had encountered quite a few difficulties, how could you not lose some I couldn't help but rush to the Cloud Manor when it happened. Later, remembering what Miss told me, I gritted my teeth and held back," The other one was wearing yellow; she called herself Lu Yao as she worriedly asked Yun Qianyue, "Miss, are you alright"

While the two were talking, everyone had already surrounded her. They all greeted her warmly.

"I'm fine!" Yun Qianyue looked at everyone and smiled after they finished speaking.

"How could she be unwell She even tricked Prince Jing into marrying her! How could she not be well" A sinister voice echoed from behind the crowd, right next to a house near the front row.

The moment people heard his voice, everyone fell silent.

Yun Qianyue followed the sound of his voice and looked past everyone. She saw a young man in a black-green robe leaning lazily against the door frame, looking at her with a cold smile on his handsome but sinister face. His figure was slender, he had bandages wrapped around his arms, and his attitude was indifferent.

Yun Qianyue rubbed her forehead and after a moment looked at Feng Jin, smiling and saying, "Who has offended our esteemed Mr. Feng It's not me, right"

The crowd exchanged glances with each other and looked back at Yun Qianyue in a look that said she was doomed.

Yun Qianyue received the looks from everyone and rubbed her forehead again. In this world, there were only three people she couldn't offend. The first one is Rong Jing, the second one was Ye Tianyi, and thirdly, Feng Jin. When Feng Jin's temper flared up, Yun Qianyue really couldn't handle him. Once before when she offended him, he had chased her for three days and nights with a sword in hand until she could no longer lift her fingers; then there was another time when he had demolished an entire room while she was trapped beneath it and didn't even bother to check on whether she was alive or dead, and also another time where he kicked her off a cliff that made her feel like jumping from a thousand-foot drop. She remembered all these three times very well, so after this incident, she never provoked him again. Now seeing his demeanor again, it seemed he had gotten angry once more. While she was contemplating how to appease him with her hand on her forehead, no good ideas came to mind. Feng Jin would only be moved by money and food; Yun Qianyue suddenly turned around and lightly tapped her toe, heading back the way she came.

"Sister Yun" Li Ting widened his eyes in disbelief, staring at Yun Qianmo who had just arrived and was already leaving.

All the people present let out a sigh. Everyone here knew that Feng Jin could not be provoked. Everyone feared their master, but their master feared Feng Jin's temper. Li Ting had only been there for less than a year and naturally didn't know how afraid Yun Qianmo was of Feng Jin because Yun Qianmo hadn't provoked Feng Jin in the past year, nor did Feng Jin lose his temper.

"If you leave now, don’t come back! Do you know I have ways to make sure you never come back" Feng Jin lazily muttered a sentence.

Yun Qianmo halted her steps and let out a helpless sigh. She turned around, looked at Feng Jin, and pursed her lips. "Even injured, you're still so domineering! Tell me, what did I do to offend you this time Never mind, just tell me how I can avoid your anger this time!"

"I thought Prince Jing’s charm had made you lose your head! So you actually know fear!" Feng Jin gave a cold snort as he looked at Yun Qianmo. Suddenly, he turned around and grabbed something flying in from the room with his uninjured hand. He held a package and walked towards Yun Qianmo.

Everyone hurriedly made way for him.

Yun Qianmo stared at Feng Jin; she suddenly had an ominous premonition.

"Starting today, I will be by your side," said Feng Jin as he walked to Yun Qianmo and thrust the package into her hand. Seeing her darken her face, his devilish phoenix eyes arched up in a teasing manner. "What Disagreeing Do you want us to fight for three days and nights again Or do you wish to be trapped under a building Or would you rather fall from the cliff's edge once more"

Yun Qianmo shook her head; she didn’t want any of those options.

"Then let’s go! Let me see just how powerful Prince Jing is, that he makes you believe no one else will do. You won’t marry anyone but him," Feng Jin said as he pulled Yun Qianmo and leaped towards the cliff. His movements were extremely fast, reaching the edge of the mountain in a moment. He even used his mouth to hold onto the rope while climbing.

Yun Qianmo heard shouts from countless people behind her; she glanced back and saw that Li Ting had already chased down to the foot of the cliff but could not catch up because he wasn't very skilled in martial arts. He looked at them with a pitiful expression. Feng Jin quickly pulled Yun Qianmo halfway up the cliff, and when she turned around, she saw him with an injured arm unable to move and using his mouth to hold onto the rope. She was speechless and could only stretch out her hand to help. In no time, they were on their way up the mountain again. Feng Jin kicked a hidden entrance open and pulled Yun Qianmo inside.

"I just got here!" Yun Qianmo reminded him with ill-humor as he was pulling her along.

"Who said you can’t leave after just arriving" Feng Jin glanced at her sideways and triggered the mechanism. The world spun around them; they were propelled upwards by a powerful force.

Yun Qianmo followed him up, fearful that he might aggravate his wound. She grabbed onto him with her hand to control their movements. "I haven’t even looked at the recent updates in Feng Ge yet! Even if you want to follow me around, there’s no need for urgency!"

"The package contains my clothes and a record of all events and news from Tian Sheng and other countries over the past two months. You can check it when you get back," said Feng Jin as he glanced at Yun Qianmo. "If I don’t leave with you now, considering your improved martial arts skills and my injury, there’s no telling whether I would be able to stop you from sneaking off. Better safe than sorry."

Yun Qianmo was speechless; after a moment she said, "I heard that the Feng family found you! Aren’t you afraid of leaving with me now"

"Isn’t there you to protect me Who would dare snatch me from your hand" Feng Jin lifted an eyebrow.

"So you were already prepared and just waiting for my arrival before deciding to leave. It seems this trip was really meant to pick you up," Yun Qianmo regretted her decision. If she had known, she wouldn’t have come; now she was bringing back a閻王爺 (Yan Wang Ye - Lord of the Underworld). However, with her memories restored, there wasn't anywhere else she wanted to go except here.

"Hm!" Feng Jin grunted.

Yun Qianmo felt a headache coming on but thought that having Feng Jin follow her around might not be such a bad idea in the future. Things would be different after this, and she did need someone by her side. She decided to keep silent.

In no time at all, they had passed through the dark passage and reached another hidden door. Yun Qianmo turned a night pearl with one hand; the cabinet door opened silently. She leaned out of the way, pulled Feng Jin back into Iron Old Man’s room, and shut the door behind them. Just as she was about to leave in a flash, someone pushed open the front door, rushing inside. She started at the intruder who exclaimed: "Little girl"

Feng Jin is an important character, don’t underestimate him O(∩_∩)O~
