Chapter 31 Eternity of Heaven and Earth

d this way.Not only did the Fourth Prince find it incomprehensible, but even the Empress and Crown Prince were puzzled by how someone who had just returned from a seven-year journey could care so much...Chapter Thirty-One: Eternal as Heaven and Earth

Yun Qianyue and Rong Feng were startled, their gazes immediately turning towards the door.

They saw Rong Jing standing right by the doorway. His moon-white brocade robe was completely soaked through, with water stains all over his body; one could even clearly see droplets of water trickling down from his forehead. After opening the door, he lazily leaned against the frame, seemingly not caring about the pouring rain or his thoroughly drenched state. He stared straight at Yun Qianyue with his warm eyes, displaying an inexplicable emotion.

Yun Qianyue's expression changed as she suddenly rose from her seat and hurriedly made her way to the door. She stumbled slightly but still managed to quickly pull Rong Jing into the room. Furiously, she asked him: "Are you crazy"

Rong Jing was pulled inside by Yun Qianyue; seeing her angry face, he nodded, "I am crazy!"

"You…" Yun Qianyue was so furious that the words she wanted to scold got stuck in her throat when looking at him drenched like a drowned chicken.

"Yun Qianyue, I am indeed crazy!" Rong Jing looked at her and emphasized again.

Yun Qianyue wanted to slap this man awake; it was clear he had been out in the rain for quite some time from his wet state. As soon as she touched him, however, she paused and instead started tearing off his clothes, angrily exclaiming: "You madman!"

Rong Jing observed her actions with a slight nod, saying softly, "What you said is right; I am a crazy person."

"Better keep your mouth shut! Otherwise, I'll throw you back into the rain and let you drown for good, allowing you to remain mad forever!" Yun Qianyue glared fiercely at Rong Jing. She couldn't imagine him standing out in such heavy rain; seeing him made her heart ache instantly. Even the best constitution could not withstand this torment, especially since his ten-year cold poison ailment had weakened him despite being healed by her. To suffer through such a rainstorm without catching a cold was inconceivable.

"You wouldn't do that," Rong Jing looked at Yun Qianyue; seeing her furious face and rough actions, a warm look appeared in his eyes.

"Who says I won’t" Yun Qianyue couldn't untie the buttons, so she roughly tore off his clothes. She threw the moon-white brocade robe to the ground.

"Then throw me out if you want! Maybe getting drenched in rain will clear my mind and stop me from going mad," Rong Jing sighed.

Yun Qianyue paused, furiously exclaiming: "Do you have to torment me"

Rong Jing raised an eyebrow; droplets of water fell down his forehead as he did so. He suddenly smiled and said, “Yun Qianyue, am I the one torturing you Or are you torturing yourself and in turn torturing me”

Yun Qianyue's breath momentarily stopped; her heart ached sharply, feeling as if it were being squeezed by his words.

"Yun Qianyue, you clearly love me! Why can’t you let yourself off the hook" Rong Jing sighed again. "Today I originally wanted to leave with狠 heart and make you unable to see me for ten days or so, wanting to see if you would miss me or not; but then you made yourself sick instead. I thought about being determined not to come back, yet could not control my legs. On the way from Rong王府to Yun王府, I wondered how this woman can be so ruthless, to both herself and me. What else could I do Thus, I decided to learn from your ruthlessness towards yourself; if I am to be harsh on you, I must first be harsh with myself."

Yun Qianyue clenched her fists tightly, her fingernails nearly cutting into her flesh. Looking at Rong Jing, even in his drenched state, he remained refined and gentle, high above others like a cloud or the sun, dignified and upright; no one could mistake him for anyone else but Rong Jing. Her heart ached intensely as she suddenly blurted out crudely: "Learn your ass off! If you dare do that again—"

"What would you do" Rong Jing looked at her with his deep eyes.

Yun Qianyue’s words were cut short; what could she do if he did it again

"Do you want to get rid of me Or completely abandon me Stop loving me or start hating me" Rong Jing looked at Yun Qianyue, his voice growing increasingly hoarse and dark with each word.

"You dream on! I’ve given you everything, even my first kiss. Are you trying to be irresponsible" Yun Qianyue glared at him, continuing to tear off his clothes as if she wanted to take them all off right then.

Rong Jing suddenly laughed and gently turned his eyes; he then embraced Yun Qianyue tightly into his arms without caring that his wetness would drench her. With a soft tone, he said: "Yes, Yun Qianyue, you gave me your first kiss, everything else, and I didn't even do anything to you! How could you lose out by not wanting me You’re certainly no one who would ever take the loss."

Yun Qianyue's face flushed red as she tried to break free from Rong Jing, but was restrained and couldn't move at all. She said indignantly and shamefully, "I hope you know that!"

"Of course I do." Rong Jing spoke in an extremely low voice.

"Let go of me! My entire body is wet! Do you want to share your illness with me too There's no way I'll be kind enough for that!" Yun Qianyue pushed him away with her hand, then remembered someone was still inside the room and didn't dare look at Rong Feng. Her face turned slightly red.

"You were already sick! Getting a bit sicker won't matter." Rong Jing held onto Yun Qianyue tightly without letting go.

"Take off your skin first before you talk to me, and don't expect my help if you get sick!" Yun Qianyue glared at him. She didn’t dare push him hard as she remembered that she was ill with a fever. But when this person appeared, she almost forgot about her illness. She really owed him a debt in a past life that she hadn't repaid.

"I'll take off my skin, but only after others leave." Rong Jing raised his head and looked at the person inside the room, still holding onto Yun Qianyue without letting go. He lifted an eyebrow and said, "Rong Feng, do you agree"

Rong Feng watched this scene with wide eyes. From when Rong Jing opened the door to when Yun Qianyue ran out, he had been in a daze, not comprehending what was happening between them. He had never seen such behavior from Rong Jing or Yun Qianyue before. Seeing these two embracing each other made him feel better and his heart suddenly became clear. When he met Rong Jing's gaze, he realized the situation and smiled faintly as he stood up to nod in agreement, "Yes, I'll leave now!"

"Rong Jing, are you a human It's raining heavily outside!" Yun Qianyue glared at Rong Jing with her face flushed red. She told Rong Feng, "Don't listen to him, stay here."

"He can use internal energy to shield the rain and also take an umbrella to leave." After Rong Jing said this, he shouted outside, "Ling Lian, give Prince Consort Rong Feng an umbrella and prepare a carriage to send him back home."

"Yes, Your Highness!" Ling Lian was in the neighboring room, closely monitoring the movements inside Yun Qianyue's room. She knew Prince Consort Jing had arrived early on and was happy to see them reconciled. She immediately responded with a nod and brought an umbrella to the door.

"It will still make him catch a chill!" Yun Qianyue glared at Rong Jing.

"Do you want him to stay here and watch our intimate moments I don't mind, but wouldn't you feel embarrassed" Rong Jing asked Yun Qianyue as he looked down.

Yun Qianyue's already flushed face turned even redder. She angrily hit him with a light hand that did nothing. Grinding her teeth, she said firmly, "I won't!"

"But he will feel embarrassed," Rong Jing pointed out.

Yun Qianyue was speechless.

Rong Feng watched the two of them with a calm gaze moving from Rong Jing's face to Yun Qianyue. Looking at their dripping bodies, he suddenly found it amusing and spoke softly, "The distance between Cloud Prince Manor and Minister Wen’s Manor isn't too far; I can use internal energy for protection and an umbrella to shield the raindrops so that neither will get me sick or cold. It would be best for Your Highness Jing to take a hot bath to remove the chill from his body. Miss Moon is still running a fever, she probably won’t have the strength to take care of you. If your condition worsens, it’ll only add more trouble!"

Rong Jing’s lips curved slightly in agreement.

Rong Feng took a step forward and left the room, accepting the umbrella from Ling Lian's hand with gratitude. "No need to see me off, I can go by myself! Prepare hot water for Your Highness Jing to bathe and boil another decoction according to my prescription."

"Yes, thank you for taking care of Miss!" Ling Lian nodded quickly.

Rong Feng smiled but didn’t say anything more. He held the umbrella and walked out of Shallow Moon Pavilion.

Ling Lian glanced inside the room and hurriedly went to arrange hot water.

Yun Qianyue watched as Rong Feng left into the rain, with heavy drops pelting his umbrella. It seemed like a net was formed around him, causing all accumulated rainwater in his path to avoid him; he walked out without any moisture touching his shoes or boots within moments of leaving Shallow Moon Pavilion. Yun Qianyue looked away and glared at Rong Jing, "If you can shield yourself with internal energy, why don't you use it"

"Would you worry about me if I did" Rong Jing raised an eyebrow.

Cloud Qianyue snorted, thinking that he must be Rong Jing. If this could shock Rong Feng, how much more so for others

"Your body is indeed very hot! You've made my body warm too," said Rong Jing.

"So what if I die of heatstroke!" Cloud Qianyue retorted angrily.

Rong Jing chuckled softly and let go of Cloud Qianyue, reaching out to undo her clothes.

"Why are you undressing me Undress yourself instead!" Cloud Qianyue pushed him away and made for the clothing rack to get a handkerchief to wipe the water off his face and hair.

"Your clothes are wet too! Take them off first! I feel hot as well. You need to take care of me," Rong Jing held onto Cloud Qianyue's hand, deftly undoing her outerwear with his fingertips.

Cloud Qianyue glared at him and said angrily, "You deserve it!"

"I do deserve it! But I couldn't help myself. What can I do" Rong Jing's voice softened. "I've been holding back all this while ever since you fell ill and had a fever. I held on for half a day but in the end, I couldn't resist anymore. I just wanted to come and take a look at you, that was all! I only meant to glance and leave, but after one look, I couldn't move my feet. If I don't let you see me like this, how can I justify torturing myself"

"You're crazy!" Cloud Qianyue thought she could say nothing else except these two words. Her heart ached, not from the dull, empty pain of recalling someone but a genuine and thorough心疼,揪心肺疼。像是用刀一下下切割她的心臟,那刀絕對稱不上鋒利,而是鈍痛。

"But this torture was worth it, at least I see you're livelier now. You’re no longer the dejected sight that made me want to give you a beating," Rong Jing continued.

"Then why don’t you beat me" Cloud Qianyue’s heart tightened as she flung off her wet clothes and grabbed a large handkerchief from the clothing rack, wiping at his face.

"Can I say that I'm not willing to let go of you" Rong Jing murmured softly.

Cloud Qianyue’s heart warmed instantly, myriad emotions flooding her mind. There was a tinge of bitterness, sweetness, pain, and even moved tears. In this moment, she truly felt what love is all about—no matter how torturous it may be, it's all worth it. The anger in her heart dissipated instantly, and the strength in her hands softened as she wiped away the water on his face gently.

Rong Jing fell silent, standing still.

"Miss, the hot water is here! Should I bring them in" Ling Lian's voice sounded from outside, hesitant to enter without permission.

"Bring it in," Cloud Qianyue instructed.

Ling Lian led someone carrying a large wooden tub into the room; steam rose up from the water. As soon as they entered, the temperature inside the room instantly increased. Ling Lian lifted the screen and had them directly carry the wooden tub behind it.

After setting down the water, Ling Lian quietly led everyone out and closed the door.

Cloud Qianyue threw away the handkerchief and pulled Rong Jing to the side of the screen. She pushed him in and commanded, "Quickly get into it, soak until you've warmed up thoroughly before coming out."

"Then come with me," Rong Jing stood his ground, looking at Cloud Qianyue.

"No!" Cloud Qianyue shook her head.

"Then I won't wash." Rong Jing held onto Cloud Qianyue tightly and spoke stubbornly.

"Rong Jing, you're not a child anymore!" Cloud Qianyue pushed him again with the hand he wasn’t holding. "Go quickly! My entire body is hot already; if I go in with you, it will only get hotter!

Rong Jing seemed to ponder for a moment, then looked at Yun Qianyue's slightly flushed face and finally let go of her hand. He nodded and walked behind the screen.

The sound of footsteps came two steps later, and his voice sounded gently, "Hurry up and get into bed! The floor is cold, you're even not wearing shoes."

"Understood!" Yun Qianyue turned around and walked to her bed.

From behind the screen, a faint rustling sound of clothes was heard, followed by slow movements. Soon after, she could hear faint water splashes, obviously indicating that he had stepped into the bathwater.

Lying on her bed, Yun Qianyue couldn’t help but look at the screen behind which Rong Jing was standing. She suddenly felt that they might truly have a long-lasting and deep relationship; one where their love would transcend life and death. In the past twenty-something years, she had been inseparable from Xiao Qi with whom she could talk about anything without hesitation or reserve. There were times when their affection was vague but tender, and there were also times they were as close as a single person sharing hearts and souls. But somehow, neither of them had ever thought about the concept of enduring forever. With Rong Jing, however, regardless of whether it was something big or small that happened, they would always have someone stepping forward to resolve their conflicts, which was countless in number and almost impossible for her to recall. But she knew whoever stepped forward, whether it was herself or him, would never stay away from each other after resolving the issues, because neither of them was strong-willed towards the other person. Their relationships were beyond superficial appearances and reputations; what mattered most was their mutual feelings.

Thinking this way made her heart feel warm and cozy.

"Yun Qianyue, what are you thinking about" Rong Jing suddenly asked from behind the screen.

"I'm thinking about you!" Yun Qianyue answered without hesitation.

Behind the screen, Rong Jing's lips curved into a smile. His expression seemed slightly intoxicated and content in the steam and mist, his voice softening as he asked, "What are you thinking about me"

"I'm just thinking about you! What else would I be thinking about" Yun Qianyue glared at the blurred figure behind the screen. She thought that Rong Jing was right; after this round of折騰 (trouble), she had indeed gained some vitality, mostly due to him.

"If you're thinking of me, there must be a particular place," Rong Jing chuckled upon hearing Yun Qianyue's tone.

“There’s no specific place!” Yun Qianyue withdrew her gaze and closed her eyes.

Rong Jing seemed to have laughed quietly before he fell silent again.

The heavy rain outside continued, darkening the sky with its loud pattering. It seemed as though it was washing away all the dust of the world and purifying people's hearts of impurities. Yun Qianyue suddenly stopped thinking about anything and felt tranquil while listening to the rain.

After a long time, she heard Rong Jing’s voice again from behind the screen, "Yun Qianyue, give me some clothes!"

Yun Qianyue came back to reality, recalling that his clothes must be wet and unusable. She remembered he had left a few sets of clothes here last time he stayed over so she got out of bed, walked to her wardrobe, opened it, and found several pieces of Rong Jing’s clothes neatly folded inside. She took one soft silk robe and threw it behind the screen.

"I thought you'd bring them in!" Rong Jing caught the soft robe, muttering softly.

Before Yun Qianyue could respond, Ling Lian's voice was heard outside saying, "Miss, I've prepared the medicine for Young Nobleman Jing."

Yun Qianyue walked to the door and opened it, extending her hand to take the bowl of medicine. "Here you are!"

Ling Lian handed over the medicine bowl, which Yun Qianyue took before closing the door and returning to set the medicine down on a table. She then got back into bed. As she lay down, Rong Jing walked out from behind the screen, clearly having dried his hair with internal energy. Dressed in light robes and soft sashes, he looked as refined as a gentleman. Yun Qianyue stared at him for a moment before her heart pounded; she then naturally nestled into his embrace and whispered, "Take your medicine."

Rong Jing nodded, walked to the table, picked up the bowl of medicine, and obediently drank it down. Afterward, he headed towards the bed, gently lifting the covers from Yun Qianyue's body before slowly getting in beside her. His body was still warm from his bath and carried a faint medicinal scent.

Yun Qianyue scooted closer to him once he lay down, naturally burying herself into his embrace as she felt her heart tremble with longing that seemed insurmountable even when he was right next to her.

Rong Jing embraced Yun Qianyue's body and sighed softly in satisfaction. "Yun Qianyue, if you weren’t sick today, I would definitely have taken the chance to tease you a little more for torturing me like this."

Yun Qianyue’s face was already red from blushing as she replied softly, "You can still do it now.

Rong Jing tightened his grip around her waist; his body seemed to tense up for a moment upon hearing what she said, but then relaxed again. He shook his head and sighed, saying, "Never mind, there's plenty of time in the future. When you're better, I'll gradually torment you. Torment you for ten thousand years."

Yun Qianyue smacked him lightly with her hand, blushing as she said, "I didn't know you could say love words."

"I didn’t either before, but encountering you made me speak all the romantic words I hadn’t spoken in several lifetimes," Rong Jing chuckled softly.

Yun Qianyue squirmed closer to him, letting his aura envelop her. She murmured softly, "Rong Jing, can we stop fighting"

Rong Jing’s thoughts turned as he looked down at the person in his arms.

"For so many years, Little Seven has always lived in my memory. Maybe I’m not incapable of forgetting him, but rather unwilling to do so; from the bottom of my heart, I don’t want to forget. We could be said to have been living together since birth and never left each other’s sides for all those years—it wasn't just a matter of days or months. We’re not lovers, nor are we an item; we never exchanged vows of eternal love, nor did we promise to stay together forever. Our feelings lie somewhere between that of kinship, friendship, lovership, intimacy, companionship, and partnership. I even thought he was an indispensable person in my life, but actually, it's not like that," Yun Qianyue’s voice was low yet incredibly clear. "After that incident, I still pushed him out for the country’s responsibility, heavy tasks, and belief. It was only because he was the most suitable person. Later on, he indeed didn’t come back; I watched him disappear with my own eyes. Afterward, I realized that a person can live life alone without necessarily needing two people together, nor does one need Little Seven to survive."

Rong Jing continued to silently look at her.

"Back then, when I made that decision, many were shocked by it, but I still decided on what needed doing. Perhaps in the past, I thought if he didn’t return, I’d die alongside him. Maybe later, jumping off a skyscraper with a ticking time bomb in my hands and feeling at ease was truly a release. At that moment, I realized that I wasn’t guilty towards him but rather couldn’t explain what feelings I had for him; those emotions were too complex, even now when recalling them are so complicated that they remain unsolvable. Perhaps I had long foreseen this outcome. Our statuses have always been clear to us both—my life doesn’t belong to me and is always prepared to be given up at any moment for the country. If he was in my position, I believe he would do the same too. Therefore, we never thought of being together, even if we spent every day with each other; our relationship only stopped there. That ambiguous affection could only sprout from its bud and remain there, no matter how long it went on—it wouldn’t bear fruit," Yun Qianyue continued.

Rong Jing’s lips slightly curled up.

"However, I can't deny that although I want to forget, deep down in my heart, I never wish to, so I’ve always remembered and only wished to remember. If I were to forget, it would be a betrayal of myself and him," Yun Qianyue glanced at Rong Jing; seeing his lips curled up without interrupting her, she continued softly: "Perhaps for this lifetime and the next, I will never forget. But my heart is clear that what’s past has passed. Even if Little Seven were alive like me in this world and we might meet one day, so what We can only meet; perhaps as relatives or friends, but no matter what, our relationship couldn’t be anything beyond that—deeper than liking, deeper than loving, even more bone-deep than unforgettable."

Rong Jing suddenly pulled his fingers back and shifted in breath.

"In this life until now, you’ve been with me. We secretly competed for ten years, but I couldn’t escape your grasp nor my own heart; thus, it was destined to be a lifetime. Another ten or twenty years might also result the same," Yun Qianyue’s voice remained soft and calm as she said: "I've already lived in this world for fifteen years, long no longer being who I used to be. I can lack principles and beliefs, not sacrifice myself for great righteousness anymore; I can decide a person's fate based on my preferences, become malleable, turn instantly murderous, and selfish. Most importantly, even if my heart is good at its core, it comes with conditions—I wouldn’t unconditionally give up everything for some great principle or belief anymore. I once firmly told you that I would never force you into a situation where you had no choice but to be with me; never ever. That wasn't to comfort you but because it was my genuine thought—really never."

Rong Jing remained silent, his slightly altered breath gradually calming.

"You are Rong Jing, Rong Jing, who kissed a five-year-old me at eight years old. After enduring the cold poison for ten years and not daring to approach me, you could still be seen lurking around wherever I went. For these past ten years, I’ve lived under your watchful eyes; you set up an enormous web that caught my heart, stirring my emotions restlessly. Yet, standing outside this web, you watched silently as I struggled. Out of helplessness, I activated the Phoenix’s calamity to give both myself and you a chance with fifteen years’ worth of memories. Do you know how much you wanted to completely grasp someone from your heart" Yun Qianyue looked up into Rong Jing’s eyes: "I thought my soul would never fall in love again, but there's you. Tell me, what poison did you give me"

Rong Jing gazed intently at Yun Qianyue without speaking.

Yun Qianyue fell silent too, her eyes no longer dark and also looking back into his.

The two locked gazes; within them was nothing but warm affection like a clear spring flowing endlessly.

A long while later, Rong Jing’s lips curved up in an arc shaped like a crescent moon. Soon, he smiled brightly and softly at Yun Qianyue: "It turns out that love words are truly pleasant to hear."

Yun Qianyue blushed; she’d never spoken such explicit or introspective words before. Now, she was driven by him into saying them in a hurry. She scolded, "You only think love words sound good"

"Not just that!" Rong Jing shook his head as the laughter in his eyes couldn’t be contained.

“Then what else did you hear” Yun Qianyue asked with her face upturned.

Rong Jing bent down and lightly kissed Yun Qianyue’s cheek. He said softly, "At least I truly felt your heart towards me; for the first time, I realized how important I am to you."

Yun Qianyue looked at him, asking in a soft voice, “What kind of feeling is that”

Rong Jing looked at her gently, his eyes filled with a captivating drunken hue. "So happy!"

The corners of Yun Qianyue's lips curled into a smile that gradually spread until it reached the corners of her eyes and the center of her brows, making her originally slightly flushed face tinted with the same dazed color because of his gentle gaze. She softly said, "I feel very happy too!"

Rong Jing hugged Yun Qianyue's body tighter as if he wanted to squeeze her into himself.

The two no longer spoke; Yun Qianyue thought that perhaps only after experiencing the feeling of everything crumbling around them, then later feeling a sense of dizziness and darkness overwhelming the world, and finally the pain in her heart when Rong Jing appeared at her door after getting thoroughly soaked in heavy rain could she truly appreciate this moment of being close to him. It was indeed very happy.

"Go to sleep." Rong Jing patted Yun Qianyue's body.

Yun Qianyue softly made a sound of agreement.

Rong Jing closed his eyes.

The rain continued outside the window, but inside the room was not cold. In fact, within the light, mist-like curtains, it felt warm and cozy. The heavy rain kept pouring until late at night. As predicted by Rong Feng, Yun Qianyue had another fever in the middle of the night; Rong Jing picked up Rong Feng's prescription to glance at it and slightly modified it before Ling Lian and Yi Xue immediately went down to boil the medicine.

When Yun Qianyue was drinking her medicine, she said to Rong Jing, "It doesn’t taste so bitter this time!"

Rong Jing smiled gently at her, "I replaced the苦蔘and 龍膽草with something else."

Yun Qianyue pursed her lips in a smile. She suddenly felt that both Rong Feng and Rong Jing were really very cute. When she had said it didn't taste bitter before, Rong Feng added the two most bitter herbs. Now, Rong Jing seemed to be unwilling for her to suffer from bitterness, so he replaced the two most bitter ingredients. She reached out to touch Rong Jing's forehead and grumbled, "Your body temperature is normal; when did you become so robust You didn’t have a fever after being drenched in such heavy rain"

"If I had a fever, I wouldn't be able to take care of you!" Rong Jing smiled as he gently smoothed Yun Qianyue's slightly sweaty hair.

Yun Qianyue felt a layer of sweat on her body and planned to move out of Rong Jing's embrace. He held onto her firmly, not letting her move. She frowned and softly said, "I am all wet; don't you feel uncomfortable holding me"

"No discomfort!" Rong Jing shook his head.

"Alright then," Yun Qianyue stopped moving, closing her eyes once more.

Rong Jing extinguished the lamp. After drinking the medicine, Yun Qianyue felt sleepy again and fell into a deep sleep. Rong Jing watched as she lay in his arms, drenched in sweat, looking extremely frail; he could feel how light she was. He gently sniffed her hair's delicate fragrance and her body’s subtle scent, though it had a hint of herbal medicine aroma, yet it was迷人 (alluring). How could he be uncomfortable

He only wanted to hold onto her. No one else could understand the joy after losing something precious and then finding it again; despite the extreme darkness in his heart, feeling helpless and powerless, with a sense of despair, but suddenly everything became less important than before: the person he loved opened up to him, sharing her deepest thoughts, making him feel happy. Under clear skies and clear mind, seeing through the clouds was like this too. He thought that indeed he had fallen into an enchanted realm; willingly wandering in the world of demons, even if it meant never finding redemption.

The next day, the heavy rain continued to pour. In Qianyue Pavilion, a large amount of water had accumulated already, but ancient high courtyards all had drainage ditches, so that water naturally flowed through them into the courtyard's lake, causing the lake’s water level to rise by three feet in less than half a day and one night.

The rain enveloped the entire Shenzheng Capital City. The street water flowed into the moat which also rose by three feet as well.
