Moyao quickly changed into diving gear. Moyuxiao thought for a moment and asked Moyao to lower the safety rope. Even without being told, Moyao would do this. Once everything was set up, Moyao also dived into the ocean.
At around forty meters deep, seeing the automatic depth reminder on his diving watch triggered a feeling of unease in Moyao, an inexplicable fear assaulting him. However, it only lasted for a brief moment.
Moyuxiao was ahead like the most elegant shark swiftly swimming. Moyao thought about it and swam after him, continuing to dive deeper as he did so. The underwater world was tranquil, gentle—though potentially dangerous, it felt comforting like a mother's embrace, giving him a sense of safety and ease that could not be described in words. As long as Moyuxiao was within reach, he would feel at peace, even while underwater.
When Moyao came down, he thought the Jack Fish school was just a lie Moyuxiao told to trick him into diving. But there were really many of them, and they hadn't moved away yet. Following the steep cliff's slope downwards, they saw these fish leisurely swimming below.
The usually fierce giants appeared very gentle now.
Moyao was overjoyed as he had a great fondness for the Thresher shark, an uncommon species of shark. Before anything unfortunate happened, his diving purpose was to find it. Moyuxiao swam over and asked Moyao to take a photo with the Thresher shark while he snapped pictures of them together. Not far away were large schools of colorful butterflyfish rolling around, like a magical world—such a shot would be breathtakingly beautiful.
Moyuxiao took numerous photos in succession, all featuring Moyao and other sharks. In return, Moyao also took plenty for him. When Moyao kissed the Thresher shark—a gentle yet mighty giant who liked humans and didn't reject his affection—it made Moyuxiao feel a bit envious. He swam over to protest but was scorned at by Moyao who kicked him away. The two continued swimming forward, Moyuxiao wanting to dive deeper but remembering it would be too dangerous for Moyao, so they just kept going horizontally without descending further.
Although he could have seen more beautiful schools of fish another 100 meters down, he decided against it.
The large tuna swam alongside them, and Mo Xiaobai occasionally teased them. They would roll over, creating huge vortices that pulled him in, but there was no real danger; it was just a form of interaction between humans and fish.
Moyao and Mo Xiaobai were undoubtedly lucky. Besides seeing schools of sharks, they also had the chance to witness a sea wolf storm. The Caribbean had good visibility, yet occasionally strong currents could be encountered, especially at this diving spot where the underwater current was swift and powerful, sometimes allowing for the observation of sea wolf storms. True scorpionfish and ghost scorpionfish swam swiftly in formation, chasing other fish with incredible ferocity. Red, golden, and three-color scorpionfish formed a pack that created a spectacular sight. Mo Xiaobai loved excitement and even entered their circle to play around; they wouldn't attack humans and would swim away upon encountering them. Since Mo Xiaobai couldn’t catch up with them, the scenery caused by this large group of fish was incredibly beautiful.
Mo Xiaobai almost didn’t want to leave.
Moyao smiled faintly as he watched him play around; this free and unrestrained Mo Xiaobai brought him joy. Mo Xiaobai’s world was full of color.
His Xiaobai, radiant and unmatched in charm, had experienced so many colorful lives before. He had many friends, and when he lived in Washington, there were always shows and people to keep him company every day.
Now that everything had settled down and he had given up on that world, would he feel bored
Moyao knew that he wasn’t someone who was good at small talk or amusing conversation. In fact, one could even say he was dull. But with Mo Xiaobai by his side, full of vitality and intelligence, he always brought unexpected joy and surprises.
However, he feared that what he brought to Mo Baibai was boredom and monotony. Therefore, he tried his best to make Mo Baibai happier, such as now, seeing the eager look in his eyes, and the happy figure of him, making him forget the potential risks of diving and follow him into the water without hesitation.
He just hoped that Mo Baibai could be happy.
To give Mo Baibai all the happiness he possibly could.
The two chased the mackerel for a while, then observed other marine life in the sea. When Mo Baibai wanted to dive deeper ahead, he swam over and gestured for Mo Yao to wait here as he dived down further.
Mo Yao nodded. He knew that Mo Baibai wouldn’t just like diving at this depth; he once dove more than 300 meters deep, even reaching 400 meters on one occasion. But Mo Yao couldn't do that.
Mo Baibai kissed Mo Yao briefly, though it didn't quite reach his lips. He didn’t mind and then continued to dive down.
As Mo Yao watched him descend deeper and deeper, the visibility was still good at around 100 meters depth, but further down, it deteriorated sharply. Seeing Mo Baibai gradually disappear from sight made Mo Yao feel anxious. A past scene flashed through his mind, making his breathing a bit rapid. Mo Yao held onto one edge of the cliff to steady himself.
After some time, he felt better.
Three Thresher sharks have been following them and now surround Ink's telepathic connection, affectionately wanting to play with Ink. Ink reaches out and gently touches their sharp teeth.
Though fierce, these Threshers are not yet fully grown adults; thus, they don't pose a significant threat or actively attack. There is no danger for Ink as it seems like they want to take him on an underwater tour. After confirming his location in the ocean, Ink joins them.
As he swims around, he comes across many new and interesting sea creatures. Unable to resist, he kisses his favorite Thresher shark and quickly takes photos, knowing that Little White loves underwater pictures.
He has taken a lot of photos. However, the Threshers are now swimming downwards. Ink hesitates, checking his depth gauge which reads 180 meters deep. He’s already nearing his no-decompression limit for this dive—45 minutes if without gear and 2 hours with it; he's almost at his limit.
Little White once dived to 300 meters where issues with ear equalization first started, requiring him to purse his lips to balance pressure. He also began feeling shortness of breath. Little White slowly exhales and tries to ease the discomfort while still observing many new marine life along the way in this diverse ocean area, collecting numerous samples. It’s been about an hour now; he is approaching his limit and decides not to go any deeper.
When he ascends 80 meters, Little White suddenly spots a dark figure rapidly falling downwards... His eyes widen as sudden panic sets in.
